I remember going to Chichen Itza when on a land based holiday and after climbing to the top we could not move the next day as our legs ached so much!

I thought Chichen Itza was on the flat ? Are you thinking of Machu Picchu ?

We were intending to book a cruise on ' Voyages of Discovery ' many years ago that encircled Cuba but we were overtaken by events so missed out ... would have liked to have gone there, it looks interestingly different :(

My hairdresser had a holiday in Cuba and rated it very highly.

If I went, I'd like to see all the classic cars

The ' Forum Rules ' suggest not, if only because of the low limit set on images. I believe that you would need to capture a video frame, convert it to JPeg format and post that. I have the same problem and cannot do it.

You could upload your video to Youtube and put a link in your forum post.

Set the Youtube video to restricted view if you don't want the whole world to see it.

Setting up a Youtube account is pretty easy.

After Key West the next sector of our cruise will be the east coast of the USA and Canada,

Miami
Fort Lauderdale
Savannah
Charleston NC
Norfolk VA ....... ( For Jamestown and Williamsburg )
Baltimore MD ... ( Overnight for Fredericksburg then Washington )
Bayonne NJ
Philadelphia
New York
Martha's Vineyard
Boston MA
Portland
Bar Harbour

followed by Canadian islands and maybe Quebec and Montreal before heading back east across the Atlantic.

Savannah is beautiful and could be a good addition ditto Washington perhaps ?

ps ... I will check with the Boss to determine any applicable ' Youtube ' limitations.

Savannah is nice. Will add to the list. Quite a small cruise port but large enough for our select cruise ship !

We'll overnight in Baltimore to allow time for trips to Washington. Easy train journey from Baltimore to DC.

Are we not nipping through the Panama to do the west coast and Alaska?

If we continued past Montreal, and ignored the Niagra Falls, to Toronto we could then get on a Virtual Train through the Rockies to Vancouver and then reboard for Alaska ;)

When we went to Key West, a Carnival ship was in the prime berth, so we had to go into the berth in the military area and get bussed into town on a Noddy train. (no photos permitted in the military area)
