Cruise Updates by P&O
You may be interested to note that P&O are beginning to publish more information on the early cruises.
For example:
Eric Lanlard has committed to cruises B502, B508, B522, B524.
Atul Kochhar has committed to cruise B504.
Olly Smith has committed to cruise B506.
Marco Pierre White has committed to cruise B509.
Cruise B515 has now been advertised with a ‘A strictly Come Dancing Theme’.

Interesting what I'm not sure what's new. All that info is already in the brochure! Are they doing the politician thing of announcing things twice?

Re: Cruise Updates by P&O
We have never booked a cruise based on the possibility of someone being on board ... although we have been 'lucky' on a couple of occasions ... things can always change at the last minute.
It really would not drive our choosing/booking decisions ... however I am sure for some it could well be the deciding factor.

So it's not true that you've booked the Britannia Maiden because we'll be there then?

Re: Cruise Updates by P&O
It's never bothered me whether there is a celebrity on board and we don't go for Festivals at Sea/Strictly cruises either. If there's something happening then all well and good although sometimes these special events can be a bit of a nuisance if they start to take over the normal programme of the ship. Fine if you are specifically interested but can leave you nonplussed if it's not your cup of tea.
As for celebrities some are excellent but some are clearly there just for the ride and are not worth the fee they are being paid.
