They look fantastic don't they
I think we'd opt for a superior deluxe balcony, they are almost like mini suites.
Tiny, tiny balconies though. Barely usable for sunbathing but a bit of outside space.

Re: Britannia Cabins
What i feel is strange is how the B1 and B2 Suites balconies compare, or do not compare, to the B4 corner aft Suite.

Gill, just checked and they are all working. However, are you using a Tablet or phone. I could not open them on my iPad.

Re: Britannia Cabins
Strange; they open OK on my iPad.
I'm not sure if it's me, but the standard balcony cabins look smaller than I would have expected. I'm thinking we should have booked a "with sofa" .....

Re: Britannia Cabins
According to this website Britannia's cabins are the same size as Azura's apart from the balcony, which I would have expected.

I couldn't open them on my iPad either and wondered if it was anything to do with my settings. At least I know it's not just me this time!!
Unsurprisingly they look much like any standard cruise ship cabin and very similar to Ventura and Azura.

Hi OBF,
It is interesting but I have kept my old brochures, well one, and that gives all the exact measurements of the cabins. Now P&O don't at the moment but Princess do. Assuming the cabins are the same on Royal/Regal Princess and Britannia. These are the figures for a standard balcony. For Britannia I give both with and without couch. All Sq Ft.
Britannia 222 & 233
Adonia. 214
Aurora. 211
Azura/Ven. 236
Oceana. 178
Oriana. Does not have any
Arcadia. 254 these are called Deluxe, but for Arcadia they are the standard ones.
All of the above include balcony. So saying the cabins are small is not exactly correct.

Cannot understand why you would use two TV's in one cabin, the noise from one would clash with the other one, unless you were watching the same programme on both.

On the Princess version of the ship they are indeed categorised as mini suitesbarney wrote:cheers Peter

One is sited for viewing from the ' sitting room area ' end of the cabin whereas t'other offers a better vantage point for bedtime viewing.oldtimer wrote:Cannot understand why you would use two TV's in one cabin, the noise from one would clash with the other one, unless you were watching the same programme on both.
Works very well in practice.

Re: Britannia Cabins
I didn't think the suites looked anything special. They looked small, minimalist and not very luxurious considering the cost of them.

Quite right. Plus at times we had live TV on one and something different, such as the navigation page or webcam, on the other.Manoverboard wrote:One is sited for viewing from the ' sitting room area ' end of the cabin whereas t'other offers a better vantage point for bedtime viewing.oldtimer wrote:Cannot understand why you would use two TV's in one cabin, the noise from one would clash with the other one, unless you were watching the same programme on both.
