Eric Lanyard afternoon tea
Having watched his TV programmes I assumed his afternoon tea would be lots of exotic cakes, however I have looked at the two menu's and there is Salmon, duck etc. Has anyone been to this and do you choose just one item on the menu?

Re: Eric Lanyard afternoon tea
We did it last month. Each couple has a stand with three different savouries - two of each type - then there are four different cakes - two of each - and two different scones also two of each.
It was absolutely divine, but there was no way we could eat it all, so they wrapped up what was left - in our case two savouries, two scones and four cakes - and we ate it MUCH MUCH later instead of dinner.
The cakes were sublime and it was money VERY well spent! I have a picture but no idea how to post it on here.

I thought it was great but not fantastic, had similar afternoon teas in the UK. In saying that I would recomend it. We would also just eat what we wanted and leave the rest, you'll never go short of food all over the ship.

As an aside - most of the desserts in the Glasshouse were developed by Eric over a glass or three with Olly

We were surprised at how much we liked her, Jan. Yes she's big, and has a lot of passengers, but we never once felt crowded.
I am sure you'll have a lovely time and look forward to seeing what you think.

Gill can you please tell me how much the EL afternoon tea costs please, couldn't find it on P&O website, but didn't spend a lot of time looking I suppose. Thought it would be easier asking you
