Update & Visa
Well with less than seven weeks to go things are starting to move - final payment made (ouch!!) and visa application on its way.
So far the vias application has not been as bad as I had imagined. I printed ogg the forms and filled them in by hand first before attempting to do the on-line version. Had a couple of minor queries but the tour operator guided me on that. Printed the completed forms off, signed and made payment on-line. (Be aware that there is an additional £10 cost to upload your photos rather than sending "proper" photos - I could not work out the logic behind that, but hey this is India and what has logic got to do with it)
This morning we took our completed paperwork and passports to the Manchester office (If you intend taking them to Manchester then make sure that you select Birmingham!!). Very simple process and virtually no waiting around.
All done and dusted so now just waiting for them to be returned.
