Why, thank you, kind sir. Looking a bit iffy for the Azores at the moment which would be disappointing (again!)

Only a cruise!!!!!!!!!! How could you? If he misses the Azores his life will be ruined. Until the compo arrives.

If you miss the Azores on the way out, do you get an extra Carib. Island, or will they slip in Vigo as well as Madeira on the way back? :(

We wouldn't be able to do Madeira and Vigo on the way back but if the weather is still awful in the Azores, I wonder whether they might reverse the order and do Madeira on the way out ? 3 years ago we couldn't get into the Azores on the return trip so we did Madeira twice - out and back

This thread started as Bon Voyage and here we are discussing all the disasters which may befall Cubie. No-one's even mentioned icebergs yet.

I remember that QB but the return trip was because if a medical emergency if I remember correctly. Much better going via Madeira as so much further South so hit the warmer weather earlier.

At the hotel in Southampton now relaxing with a glass of vino.

There is a pax meet planned in East bar at 11:15 am on Sunday but the organiser Elaine is not sure if the bar will be open in the morning.

Yes, we remember it too and were mightily annoyed.

Bon voyage et Joyeux Noël, tour le monde:)
