Have spent the last few months assisting my father with his house move, its gone on forever. Last Friday he moved from a bungalow at the top of a hill to an apartment in an older people's comp!ex, where it's hoped he can have more company and events laid on to take part in.

So thought it would be nice to book a cruise where I can just chill out.

Not a bad price including single supplement.

It's been a not bad sunny day her in Wales.

Well done you - you need a bit of chill time  I'm afraid the single supplement was a bit steep for me but a nice bit of OBC to compensate for it. It's been a sunny day here too over in south-east Wales - just finished cutting the grass :)

Well done Lindsey. Always good to have another one to look forward to. We are having November and December at home this year to prepare (lose weight) ready for our World Cruise on Arcadia in January.

Still got Oriana in August and Arcadia in September to look forward to before then.

I am hoping to lose what I put on in August before I go in September then when we return early October it will be full on fitness regime and strict diet until January 1 st. Still got weight to lose from last cruise and I am going to Spain on Monday. I feel like I am fighting a losing battle but need to keep trying.

Sue

I noticed that our Oriana cruise (if I have the correct one) is calling at some of the same ports as we are in November.

Have you been to Tangiers before ?

I was wondering about either a shops excursion or staying on board

Hi Lindsey,
We did call at Tangiers last year but we did not book a trip. We disembarked and walked towards the port gates. We were accosted by stall holders, then saw pax walking back to the ship who had got further than us. They advised us to turn round and get back on due to harassment through the port gates.

Not sure what we will do this time but may well stay on ship. Pax we spoke to who did do the trips were not impressed and the tours all seemed to include a stop at a carpet / souvineer shop.

We were there in May last year and walked to the Medina which has some nice restaurants in which to pass the time and people watch. It's policed and we did not experience any harassment at all, just a taste of local life. We also did a tour, ''Taste of Tangier' which was a waste of time and money.
