B605 back to back with B606

#1

Post by ITWA Travel Writer »

I have been commissioned to write about Britannia’s first year of cruising, her first season in the Caribbean and a repositioning cruise aboard Britannia, so I will be on cruises B605 back to back with B606.

28 days of sheer pleasure.

It’s a tough life being a travel writer.

Ladies, the life of a travel writer is hard enough without the distraction of two beautiful girls!!!

Oops big error, three beautiful girls, I forgot my own dear lady.

Welcome aboard ‘HellsWardle’.

My dear Lady Maureen and I will arrive on board the day before you. We will be billeted on the starboard side of ‘A Deck’ as far forward as you can go and above the ‘Bridge’, the cabin with the big balcony.

I am active on this forum and CC forum where I have started a ‘Roll Call’ for this cruise. In addition I am keeping a blog on the construction, fitting out and initial cruises of Britannia on http://www.tich.co

Best regards
John

Thanks John. Have joined your roll call. This will be our 6th cruise (all with P&O). We've previously cruised on Ocean, Ventura and Azura. Oceana just edges Azura as our favourite so it'll be interesting to see what we think of Britannia. Having read some of the comments about Royal Princess it would seem that the balconies are on the small side - probably not something you'll need to about though with your larger balcony?? :)

I am also on cruises B605 and B606 b-t-b so will be qualified to be one of your glamorous assistants. Also on cruise B523 which means I can leave some luggage on board which will help with the flight weight restriction on the outward journey.
