Day 2
sea today
for some odd reason we woke up at 4.30 am? so after vainly trying to get back to sleep, we got up at 6.00 and went for an early breakfast.
Deck 11 buffet was plentiful, hot and not too busy but at 7.00am I would be surprised if it was
After breakfast we hogged a couple of sunbeds for 3 hours until we both got bored and went for a wander about the boat
After lunch in the buffet,we found a nice quiet spot in the Argo lounge and did a bit of reading and watched the flying fish out of the windows
As it was Captain's night, which is the formal bit, we opted out and went to the Grill for dinner, the Grill is the select dining venues onboard and carries a supplement of £20 each, tonight was Asian Fusion and to be honest it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten, anywhere, the food was so good we booked for the following week before we left.
A couple of cocktails in the Delo bar and another couple in the main lounge listening to the Peakles, then off to bed

Day 3
Tortolla
Woke up early again and found us berthed next to Ventura, which dwarfed the Thomson Dream.
Early breakfast and then another 3 hours basking in the seal colony
got off the ship and had a wander around St John's for a couple of hours, then headed for the Marina for lunch, spent a couple of hours over lunch watching the marina and the black Pelicans and all the fish swarming around the marina
Back to the ship for a couple of drinks and a snooze, before getting ready for dinner, tonight we joined a table of 6 and had a pleasant evening with other passengers before going up to the lounge for a few cocktails

Day 4
St Barths
Tender to shore and after seeing the debacle getting on and off , we decided we would be safer on board, so hogged a couple of beds for 6 hours , after breakfast
Breakfast is becoming the meal of the day and is getting larger by the day, I have just discovered the pancake station, which does not bode well
Buffet lunch today , the burger count is up to 2
Dinner at a table of 8 tonight, very good company
and as is becoming the norn, off for a few cocktails and to watch the entertainment, not done a show yet, as we have not seen anything listed we are bothered about.
Apparently St Barths was very expensive with a couple of people saying they were charged $10 for a beer?
glad we stayed on board

Day 5
Antigua
Still getting up far too early but at least there is no waiting for breakfast
Today was the island tour to Nelson's boatyard, the block house, Shirley heights etc, a very good tour and very interesting to see the island
after we got back we went for a wander round the town and found a local eatery for chicken wings and beer, the Bananna café seemed to be the Wi-Fi spot for the crew as most of them were huddled about the place skypeing home. After a bit of retail therapy we got back on board, just in time for afternoon tea, this was a well kept secret and is proper silver service, the waiters wear white gloves and serve sandwiches and cakes and pastries from platters
Diner in the MDR on a table for 2 and yet more cocktails in the lounge whilst watching the Peakles perform
Really surprised at the amount of wildlife there is about the place , apart from Frigate birds, Pelicans ,, loads of other tropical fish, Lizards, Gheko, Iguanas
Nihil Obstat
