Cannot View Cruise J718

#1

Post by Stephen »

I am trying to view the itinerary for a cruise on Arcadia in Oct-Nov 2017 without success.

If I click on the ‘view cruise details’ tab I get taken to a different web page of no consequence. If I input the cruise number into the home page ‘holiday search by cruise number’ box and click ‘Search’ it comes up ‘cruise number not valid’!

Unless it's something to do with my system P&O seem to have a web site problem as I can't get any cruise numbers to work on their home page.

I've just tried searching J718 and it says it's not a cruise number too but I also tried B701 which I know exists because I've just paid for it  and that's come up so not sure what's going on Stephen.

Thank gawed for that Jan. At least it appears to be a P&O web site problem and not our systems.

I can help with this as we were going to book it.

My travel agent had to ring through to P and O

It been taken off due the ship going into dry dock for refurbishment.

We were very disappointed but have since booked the Aurora for Oct 17.

Thanks for the update Lindsey.

Oh well, that's a few bob saved ;)

If the itinerary had been good I might have been tempted to book as it would have coincided with my 60th b/day.

That's very disingenuous - he is not a day over 75

This does make sense as Arcadia has had a refit planned for 2017 for a while now but, apart from a couple of days, there were no gaps in her schedule - another case of the "left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing"?

We noticed a similar situation with Ventura in 2018, there was a fictional 16 day cruise showing after our Caribbean and USA cruise in Feb/March, it had a code but you could not access it, clearly put there by P&O just to blank out a certain period, presumably until the refit time is firmed up.
