We’re delighted to announce that Iona’s godmother will be Dame Irene Hays, chair of Hays Travel, the UK's largest independent travel agency.
There is no one who has been more supportive of cruising or been more of an ambassador for the travel industry than Dame Irene Hays. So we felt there was no one more appropriate to take centre stage for our ceremony on May 16 when we celebrate her achievements.
Dame Irene will officially name our most environmentally-friendly and most contemporary ship in a special ceremony on Sunday 16 May 2021. Keep your eyes peeled for when we share all the highlights.
