We Have Arrived

After a few minor hiccups we have arrived safe and sound.

The car that was picking us up to take us to the airport was half an hour late however that did not matter as when we arrived at the airport and checked-in we were told that the flight was delayed by half an hour. Also due to a computer problem the check-in person was unable to print off our boarding cards for the Dubai to Auckland flight but they should be available at the gate (which they were).

The flights were uneventful - apart from being very long!

Arrival at Auckland was OK until we reached passport control. Part of this area has been updated with automtic biotronic scanners which most people were having prolems with. Anyway 35 minutes after landing we were on our way to see the family.

All is well with the family - the grandchildren, obviously, have grown a lot since we last saw them and are now young people!!
