I don't pay for my subscriptions, and certainly ďon't use a market trader as my chemist.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Nor do I now.
In fact I recently had to go and pick up my repeat prescription after turning 60. The chemist lady spoilt all my fun. Instead of the usual 'do you pay for your subscriptions', which I would have replied 'not any more' with a grin, she just handed me the bag. I said to her 'how do you know I don't have to pay', she replied, 'because your age is on the repeat slip'. Bu99er

We're lovely thank you. I expect Cubie is at the Post Office queuing for his pension now he's "early" retired. Who's he kidding? And off to the care home for Christmas too.

Tea in bed, how very working class!
Only wish I still had someone to bring me my breakfast in bed.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Too right.
Mrs S is still working part time and brings tea in bed every morning before going off to the coal face. I'm making up to her though. Keep it to yourself but I've splashed out and brought her a new ironing board cover. I wasn't intending on spending that much, but she's worth it. It's the little things and thought that counts. You know what I mean lads

If you have really been that brave/foolish I don't know where you'll be having Christmas dinner but it won't be with the rest of the familyStephen wrote: ↑18 Dec 2017, 11:27Too right.

Not "working class" any more John boy - been retired for ten years now and every morning I wake and realise that yes I am on my own and unless I get up to make it then I too will be waiting for that lovely first cuppa of the morning
