You do have to worry about Towny, he knows all the terms, whilst I haven't a clue. (Sheltered life)

Re: Last One to Post Wins
I wondered if Stephen's comment about a new closet was a reference to Ray's new Lion avatar, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but then again probably too subtle for an Essex mud rambler.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Thinking of complaints, I recently received my amended booking confirmation after claiming my shareholder OBC for our next cruise, and P&O had also given us £50 each "for a complaint". Now I have no idea what it was for, our last cruise was on Aurora and I made no complaint about the cruise, even though I did not enjoy Aurora as much as I expected to from reading other posters comments about her. Anyway I will gratefully accept it and maybe enjoy dinner in Epicurean paid for by P&O.

Any hoo, it is not just any old lion, it's a Rastafarian lion, as sold on board when in the Carib in the days of Harding Bros.
Not many days now to go.

Certainly not, the local pigeons simply cannot be trusted with such temptations.Mervyn and Trish wrote: ↑24 Feb 2020, 18:27Will you be leaving the G&T out on the lawn ready?Manoverboard wrote: ↑24 Feb 2020, 12:31We've been promised hail stones tomorrow ….. got rain today

Reminds me …. I haven't poured a single ( or even a double ) tipple of Bombay during the whole of 2020. Hot chocolate, Southern Comfort and a Cadbury's Flake sitting in front of the log burner is a far better option.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
That's a phrase I often heard by Mum use, but our local weather presenter said yesterday that historically February is the driest month of winter.
