Sounds good Johntowny44 wrote: ↑25 Feb 2019, 09:02Pauline's niece had a 21st party for her 3rd son yesterday and most guests spent the afternoon outside enjoying the sunshine and balmy temperatures of the mid teens, no barbecue but the hot pulled pork in BBQ sauce butties were eaten outdoors, washed down with a favourite tipple.
Why not.
Will do Stephen, thanks for the heads up!

Why not you are asking, well .... the BBQ was tucked away in a far corner of the garage last October for winter storage and cannot be got out unless and until I move a number of things that are stacked in front and around it.
One's prized front garden bench for example but that has to be painted and hardened off before it can be placed in the garden but I cannot do that because it has a palate of gravel in front of it and we await one's gardener to distribute the gravel as instructed in the garden rather than remaining in bags in the garage. It's far too heavy for Mobietta to carry about so it will have to remain there for a while. Then there are things like the Wirly-gig and the umbrellas for the garden patio furniture plus the lawn mower, the shredder and the woosher that gets all the moss out the grass. In the first instance we have to dig 'n' trim all the borders, ditto the lawns but the grass is still too wet in parts although I am hoping to make a start in the not too distant future albeit rain is forecast during the next two weeks.
So you can appreciate that it will probably be April before we have our first Barbecue and come October we will be cleaning it all up and putting it all away again. I do sometime wonder if I actually need a Barbecue …..
It's the longest excuse for not popping down to the supermarket to get a one trip BBQ and a few steaks.Jan Rosser wrote: ↑26 Feb 2019, 09:11Blimey this must be the longest post on LOTPWManoverboard wrote: ↑26 Feb 2019, 09:05Ok, perhaps I should have posted that ' I ' couldn't possibly have a BBQ in February.
