Re: Last One to Post Wins
The good news was that it rained most of Friday so brill for our brown grass but the notso good news was that on Thursday one's painters had taken down all our gutters as part of their preparation.
ps … the forecast for today is light cloud and sunny intervals but the sky is presently telling a rather different story.

Two weeks tomorrow will be off with family to Baltic - not sure what temperatures will be like there.

The heavy overnight downpour certainly changed our back grass from brownish to lush green again. It came just in time going by the temps for next week. It could get up to a real feel of 39deg one or two days at Costa Del Maldon next week.

Snap John - I'm travelling with No. 2 son and family - jumping ship too - sailing with RCI on Explorer of the Seas - new ship for the kids - be interesting to see whether they like it having only travelled with P&O and Princess before. The cruise was chosen by my 12 year old granddaughter who said "we've been to the Med loads of times and it's so hot let's go somewhere else"

RCI's style didn't suit us, but the ship (Indy) was fabulous and we thought it was great for young families.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Only done one RCI cruise so far on Navigator OTS with my SIL and BIL from Canada, we did one show and a couple of quizzes, but spent most evenings after dinner in Boleros listening to the Latin sounds of a Ukranian trio, so it was family style, this time will be family style as well but probably a younger family style.Mervyn and Trish wrote: ↑20 Jul 2019, 19:40RCI's style didn't suit us, but the ship (Indy) was fabulous and we thought it was great for young families.

I thought you’d sailed with RCI a few times John - my mistake - I’ve only sailed once with them too but have a feeling my 12 year old granddaughter will be keen to try everything while the 16 year old will just want to hang around with friends. I’m quite sure I will enjoy just spending time with them alltowny44 wrote: ↑20 Jul 2019, 22:44Only done one RCI cruise so far on Navigator OTS with my SIL and BIL from Canada, we did one show and a couple of quizzes, but spent most evenings after dinner in Boleros listening to the Latin sounds of a Ukranian trio, so it was family style, this time will be family style as well but probably a younger family style.Mervyn and Trish wrote: ↑20 Jul 2019, 19:40RCI's style didn't suit us, but the ship (Indy) was fabulous and we thought it was great for young families.

We have only tried one different cruise line, Mervs favourite, Celebrity. Enjoyed they ship (Eclipse) and cruise, but too expensive now.

I'm not stupid enough to link your reference to plasterer to a knee injury.
I know exactly what you meant.

Seems to be a lot of "official Auto-posts" again thought they had been removed for good ;(
Good news is that I'm in the lead so must be the winner
