Now that's going back a bit Merv, the days when the Corona truck came round the streets just like the milk float.

One of my first jobs as a drivers mate for Corona many moons ago. Could drink all the pop I wanted while working but not allowed to take it home. Loved the cream soda.

Oh yes. Eggs bacon sausages chips baked beans two slice and a mug of tea, all for around three quid. Those were the days.

As an aside to the Corona memory, having just looked on the web, Tango, which is still available today, was the last Corona drink launched in 1950.

Double egg 'n' chips was all I could afford at the café ' in the good old days ' … apart from that they were full of ' Teds ' listening to the rock 'n' roll on the juke box so best not to hang around too long. :shh:
