Re: Last One to Post Wins
I thought we had signed on as vulnerable when we first started, but maybe age does not give us any priority, we can't book our Xmas slots until 30th Nov. at the earliest.Manoverboard wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 09:35If you are a Sainsbug ' vulnerable ' you can book a Christmas week delivery slot, just booked ours for the 22nd

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Both I and Mobietta received e-mails from Sainsbugs during March to confirm we would be getting priority treatment. Have been able to get slots throughout and for the past month or so we can book two weeks ahead. I take it you were logged on when you checked Xmas booking times cos these are of course displayed when one is not logged ontowny44 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 09:42I thought we had signed on as vulnerable when we first started, but maybe age does not give us any priority, we can't book our Xmas slots until 30th Nov. at the earliest.Manoverboard wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 09:35If you are a Sainsbug ' vulnerable ' you can book a Christmas week delivery slot, just booked ours for the 22nd

I was indeed logged in, and we have managed to get slots whenever we wanted them, but clearly not as vulnerable you Moby.Manoverboard wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 11:00Both I and Mobietta received e-mails from Sainsbugs during March to confirm we would be getting priority treatment. Has anyone else noticed Sainsbubs have sneakily upped the prices of their normal 1 hour delivery slots to a minimum of £4 unless you're happy to have your delivery at a very unsocial hour? You can only now get a £1 slot if you opt for a 4 hour window. Of course you can avoid a charge by spending over £100 but we rarely do that.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
We have just opted for a Delivery pass, just a 3 month trial at £10 which gives you free delivery costs if you spend £40 min. Seemed like a no brainer since they will refund the difference if the DP costs more.Mervyn and Trish wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 18:07Has anyone else noticed Sainsbubs have sneakily upped the prices of their normal 1 hour delivery slots to a minimum of £4 unless you're happy to have your delivery at a very unsocial hour? Thanks. I'll look at that. We order weekly so the sums look good.towny44 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 19:11We have just opted for a Delivery pass, just a 3 month trial at £10 which gives you free delivery costs if you spend £40 min. Re: Last One to Post Wins
Our deliveries are from their larger stores so we get a much better choice than from our local one. The round trip distance is approx 75 miles so an extra £1:50 was of no concern, we also opt for a 10:00am delivery which we think has given us better ' use by ' dates because of the 06/07:00am picking times. Our bills are always over £100 but I will deffo stick with the early slots ... hadn't even thought about getting a delivery pass but will nowMervyn and Trish wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 20:10Thanks. As they say, what goes around, comes around, we so the topic of getting a supermarket delivery has come around.
Couldn't get a delivery first time around, shouldn't be surprised if that's the same now..
