I keep wondering why God would choose Uddersfield when he could have anything he wants? Maybe it's a challenge. There are more lost souls to save than anywhere else ?

Was there a clue somewhere that Towny missed in God's own toilet the dark satanic north?

I was as usual ahead of you in meaning after her flight, clearly southerners and ex BBC presenters have difficulty in keeping up with true northerners.Mervyn and Trish wrote: ↑18 Oct 2019, 15:55Was there a clue somewhere that Towny missed in God's own toilet the dark satanic north?

Why are you complaining, I thought the South East needed rain to recover from the drought?
By the way its drizzling here.

Oh dear, us northerners (at leat the rump) will be so insensitive in a few generations that we won’t know/care if it’s raining or not.
I knew there was an upward spike in the north in height/weight and other desirable traits about 180 years ago called the bicycle effect. The widespread availability of cycles enabled youngsters easier access to adjacent valleys and villages so increasing the gene pool of the region.
Looks like this is the bicycle effect in reverse.

Maybe we are just exporting our trendy lefties so that when global warming leads to London disappearing under the sea they will perish along with the rest.
