Aurora Refit 2019

As we disembarked Aurora on Saturday morning there were 1,600 (approx) contractors waiting to board the ship to carry out the refit.

From what I was able to glean the refit, apart from the new cabins, will be to

• Replace many of the carpets and furnishings around the ship
• Refurbish the suites in much the same way as the suites on Arcadia
• Refurbish the crew areas - crew lounge and restaurant
• Replace the TVs and provide digital TV services
• Improve the WiFi around the ship

Am I reading that correctly? Is she getting new, as in extra, cabins? Or is it refurbishment?

They are replacing the kid's club with cabins as she is becoming adult only

David, did you happen to find out what size and type of new TVs were being installed, will Aurora get larger widescreen TVs, or has P&O still got some of the ancient 4X3 format Sharp Aquos stock left from whenever Sharp gave them away to them?
