Syndicate quiz on Oceana

Ruby and I both enjoy participating in the Syndicate Quiz every night on a cruise and we've always found some like minded cruisers to hook up with and form a team, but here's the thing - neither of us can remeber if there was a quiz on Oceana, despite cruising on her twice before. Can anyone enlighten us, as we'll be off to the canaries on her in 10 weeks time?

Yes, there normally is. We were on board last November and the quizzes were held upstairs in the Plaza. Apparently the captain's cabin is underneath and a few years ago he complained about the noise overhead so it was held in a MDR instead.

Perhaps the noise was the sound of running feet, as the tables tried to get their answers in before being cut off!

I have been to the syndicate quiz in both The Plaza and the MDR on Oceana. I suppose they decide at the time where it is to be held. Hope that helps.

Yes, the ordinary quizzes were in the Yacht and Compass and the syndicates in the Plaza.

When we have been on Oceana the syndicate quiz was always held in the Plaza or the MDR. They were always better attended in the Plaza. We used to have a drink then finished off with a cocoa.
