Upgraded but no eticket
Hi and happy Christmas. I’ve received a new confirmation document fromP&O showing I’ve been upgraded to a mini suite the my cruise on Friday. However my eticket and luggage labels on the personal user show old cabin number. Is this normal? I am worried I’ll get to terminal and be told it was a mistake.

Hi Ess001
As your cruise is so close I would give either your travel agent or P&O a call, depending who you booked with.

It takes at least 24 hours for the upgrade to show in the Cruise Personaliser.

Still cutting it fine though, especially if you are intending to travel down the day before.

If all else fails they'll know at check in when you produce your passport.

One time we booked a guaranteed cabin and didn't get our cabin until we arrived at the terminal at Barbados.
We handed over our passport and everything was on the computer got a nice surprise because we got an upgrade

No problem at all - simply take the upgrade doc with you, not that you will need it.

But that does not help with luggage labels - although if I remember correctly there some available in the lounge, or you use the "old" ones and then locate your luggage when on board.Manoverboard wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017, 10:30No problem at all - simply take the upgrade doc with you, not that you will need it.

Make DIY cardboard replacement labels ( Selotaped and stapled ) ... we used a highlighter pen as a border for the new Deck colour and a freezer pen for the cabin number .david63 wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017, 10:38But that does not help with luggage labels - although if I remember correctly there some available in the lounge, or you use the "old" ones and then locate your luggage when on board.Manoverboard wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017, 10:30No problem at all - simply take the upgrade doc with you, not that you will need it.
Failing that use the old labels with a black cross through the Cabin Number and get the Check-In Desk staff to locate and deliver them to the correct cabin, in a worst ' case ' scenario one may have to collect them from Reception once on board.

Thanks everyone. The personaliser took 24 hours to update with the new docs. Am already in Southampton and the hotel let me print them all off. Happy days
