pre-booked sunlounger on Cruise Personaliser

#1

Post by Ray B »

Following on from the news that Thomas Cook will offer its customers the chance to book a sunlounger when booking a holiday at selected hotels, will this set the number crunchers at Carnival PLC off, to work out if there is a chance for a new revenue stream here.
Of course they will have to be cheaper than the posh bit up the front.

It could never work on a cruise ship because there can never be one sunbed per passenger, unlike the hotels which will operate this scheme.

Brilliant idea - despite it being Feb 1, not April 1....

But there's nowhere near enough beds - unless they add a trailer to the ship.

They've also got to allow for those who bag one in the sun and one in the shade....

plus on a cruise, the sun has a tendency to move

Not forgetting the retail sector.......a towel, albeit a bit damp as it's been out since 4am.

One wouldn't need to book a sunbed on a Northern Lights cruise .... just saying
