fred has just cancelled cruises on Braemar

#1

Post by poole boy »

just received an email from Fred saying they are cancelling all cruises on Braemar until spring 2022 so our cruise m2122 is cancelled for august 2021.
They have said they will get in touch with us in a couple of months to give us options to rebook or have a refund of deposit.

Its sounds as though its possible that Braemar is being sold, but if so I would have expected future passengers to have been offered sailings on other vessels staying in the fleet.

Another option is that it is going to be upgraded during the lull in cruising.

Fred cruising is a small part of his kingdom but a bigger part is going to be his ship renovation set up in Belfast so this could be an alternative to sending his ships to the continent like wot used to happen.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

I too thought it sounded like they were going down the proverbial.

On another forum it is suggested that it's due to the fact she does mainly fly cruises, and the difficulties these currently create, which is the main reason for the long outage.

We've been on Braemar twice. January last and February this year.
Had a great time and really enjoyed both cruises. Different ports from P&O last year was Amazon Adventure (no Stephen not on shopping on line) lovely ship
