We off pretty soon and would welcome any suggestions for La Rochelle, Bilbao & El Ferrol on our own?

La Rochelle is a great DIY mouch-a-bout sort of place although you have to have the shuttle from the docking area.
As for the other two ....
Bilbao is also a fair distance from the Port and has, imo, very little to offer bar their famous Museum, I would book a trip to beautiful San Sebastian.
El Ferrol is a decent starting point for a trip to Santiago de Compostela.

Moby, have booked trip to San Sebastian today. Got my 8.5% off too which I didn't expect so that's paid for another round
