Mrs Brown's Boys

Granted not everyone likes this programme, but we went to the Sheffield Arena last night to see the Show.

The atmosphere was electric and the laughter started immediately. An absolute fantastic night out

We were unsure as to how the programme would adapt to an Arena, but it worked quite well and there were 3 huge screens also.

As regards the script - brilliant and even better when they fell about laughing themseves (whch was often)

We'll definitely be looking out for next year's Tour

I love that series and hope to go and see it live in stage next year.

I was surprised to learn what a family affair it is ... Jennifer Gibney (plays Cathy) is Brendan O'Carrol's real wife. Buster is O'Carrol's son, Winnie is his sister and I believe his daughter, her husband another his son in law and others play roles in it (can't remember which).

I had never watched Mrs Brown's Boys; seeing it trailed did nothing for me. However, at a lose end last week I happened on a repeat of their Christmas special. I found it uncouth, irreverent, and disrespectful
BUT overall bl***y hilarious, can't wait for this years special :D

The first time I saw it I lasted about 5 minutes and switched it off. However, like Ray we saw a Christmas Special and have been watching it ever since.

It sure will be Jean. Best of it is we were at my mother's and I thought she would tell us to switch it off because of the bad language. She rolled around laughing and said it was the most she had laughed all Christmas and the best thing on TV!! When Agnes started bashing Grandad around the head with a tray I thought she was going to have a stroke!!!
Brendan O'Carroll is just naturally funny and I love the ad libs.
