From the suggested names I went for Anton, but if I'd suggested another it would be Philip Schofield, now he's free from Dancing on Ice.

Freddy Starr would be my choice ... all the others take themselves far too seriously
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

John Sergeant (or however he spells it) has the necessary experience, gravitas and humour plus the humility which Bruce Forsyth lacked. Perfect choice.

Ray Quinn seems to be the kind of all round entertainer that Brucie was in his day.

I have voted for Anton Du Beke as I admire his skill and he seems to have a good sense of humour.

Kaymar, if you can vote for John Sargeant, then can a make a counter-proposal for Anne Widdecombe?kaymar wrote:John Sergeant (or however he spells it) has the necessary experience, gravitas and humour plus the humility which Bruce Forsyth lacked. Perfect choice.
....or perhaps even a double-act?

Now there's a thought, Romig. Who knows, if they did that, I might even start watching it (as long as Tess is still there, of course, and they get rid of that daft Italian and Len Whatsisname,)

But just to go back to my Philip Schofield idea, he presents This Morning on ITV with Holly Willoughby, who also used to present Dancing on Ice with him. She left the latter to do the Voice on BBC, while continuing with the former. So I still vote for PS to hop channels. If Holly can get away with it so can he.
I rest my case.

I'm still thinking about this one, at the moment the only one suggested that I would like to see do it is Philip Schofield and even better if Holly was to co-present with him.
