I booked this cruise a few months ago - I am travelling with my son and family. As it is school holidays and my son and his wife are teachers we booked early and apparently we are on a Select fare now and there is no change as yet to the prices.

Weren't you on the same Ventura cruise as us back in July this year to the Canaries leaving on the 27th?

Yes, I remember now Jan, we were on the same Ventura cruise. I work in school also, hence the reason for the school holidays cruises, lol.
To be honest I don't really mind as I like to see the children enjoying themselves. My only complaint is about the cost of land holidays in school holidays.
I have booked the new early saver, or what ever it is called these days. Won't know our cabin until nearer the time but don't mind as it is just hubby and myself. We have been given OBC for our Oceana cruise in the summer holidays as the price had come down since we booked in May. 8-)
