aww lovely, I wish we got married on board a cruise ship, our second cruise was for our honeymoon. You will love it!!

We booked May 2011 after returning from Ventura, so nearly two years waiting for this one!! We have two little girls :)

I have not had anything from P&O yet regarding that, mind you I have no tours booked for any of those islands so maybe thats why. I wonder why they have changed it.

I have just had a call from our travel bloke telling us he recieved a message from P&O, I said I bet they have changed the order of islands, then I told him how I found out. I dont think I would have noticed if no one had told me though, I just seem to get on a ship and get off when it stops.

Listening to all the trouble going on, makes me wonder if we will get to Casablanca, It seems the troubles are quite close. I wonder if any other ships are going there.

I think a lot of it is down to the government, if they think its a bit dodgy the travel industry will be told to avoid. Worth keeping an eye on though. As this is your first cruise I dont think it will bother you too much if we miss any islands, Oceana was our first P&O ship when she was new to the fleet and to be honest I didnt care if we never got off I just loved being on board. We was back on her for Xmas and I must say she is still an impressive ship. Just be prepared for the future to become expensive because you will be hooked.

It depends if another port could take us at short notice, if not they could cancel but I am sure all will be ok.

ahh well at least money will be refunded on excursion!! As long as the weather is hot enough to use the pool I will be okay with that, except we did originally book this cruise because of Casablanca!!

Ok makes sense, would be a shame as id like to see casablanca & its the only port we've booked an excursion in but safety comes first!!

Just had a look on ABP southampton at their cruise ship movements and they have no record of Oceana coming into or going out of Southampton on 02/03/13. strange.

All weddings at sea have to take place on a sea day, we get married on the way to casablanca. Which also happens to be mothers day (didnt know that when we booked it in 2011)

Its because it makes you easier to spot on a sea day. Hi Emrobo, I didnt think to look on them.

Apart from excusion in casablanca and car hire in tenerife we are just going to take it as it comes and diy the rest of the ports!!

Quite fancy the cable car in maderia, go on the hunt for the custard tarts in lisbon and ive also seen on lisbon tourism website there are segway tours which ive always wanted to do. So we shall see what happens. 24 days to go and i cant wait :-)

We have booked the 'horse thing' lol made me laugh!! We were going to DIY - as it is £34 per child, with P&O yet they are free to get in the horse show, and can't taste the sherry so £34 each for the bus!! :O

Lisbon we are getting on the HOHO bus, Casablanca booked the 2 hour trip. Was going to do Loro Parque DIY but worked out there is £30 difference so have now booked it with p&O.

La Palma heading to the beach with the kids (weather permitting) and a stroll around, same for Gran Canaria I think.

Madeira doing our own thing - cable cars etc
