Re: Our World Magazine
Number 9 arrived this morning and included a letter which said that PO are making changes under their Pride and Joy programme to get cruisers and their bags on and off the ships even faster. There will be small tweaks to the e-tickets and luggage labels will be clearer plus some bigger, behind the scenes changes. I wonder if that refers to the 6 million pounds makeover for the Mayflower Terminal which has started and due to finish by April 2015, although I assume that is the responsibility of Associated British Ports rather than PO.

Mine arrived this morning. It also mentions that they are doing away with the priority luggage service.

Not got ours yet. But we do usually get it so I expect it's in the post somewhere. Probably anywhere rather than here!

Oh yes - I've just looked and I've got an e-mail as well. We will miss out on all these 'enhancements' because our next cruise is with Caribbean Princess to see how Princess compares with PO. As we have jumped to Elite on Princess we get a free mini-bar - that's the sort of enhancements hubby is looking forward to the most.Manoverboard wrote:Not yet but I do have an e-mail from the CEO re the new and exiting boarding procedures.

Re: Our World Magazine
Ours arrived yesterday as well as the e mail. The enhancements programme started earlier this year , it is the new luggage system, and new labels which will start soon. We have 2 different lots of labels for our cruise next week so ww will put them both on the cases. As long as the luggage gets on board before we set sail, that is all I care about.

Well, at least ONE copy has made it as far north as Carlisle, as we got ours yesterday.

Re: Our World Magazine
magazine now arrived, but no email.
Are the emails going to all and sundry or just those with cruises booked?

Meg - I think I must have ticked both e-mail and postal information on the PO site about receiving information so I think that is why we get the e-mails. We haven't got a cruise booked with them at present - I just like getting information about all the latest deals.Meg 50 wrote:magazine now arrived, but no email.

Re: Our World Magazine
I hate to add an extra insult, David, but Ken received an e-mail about the changes at 6.45 pm yesterday from PO and I received one about the same thing at 6.46 pm yesterday. I think PO may be trying to tell you something - then again, it sounds more like NOT telling you something.david63 wrote:Postman been - no magazine
