Now that would be good Sue, would be great to see you again.Suekersh wrote:Hi Pauline,
We are trying Oriana out this year for Xmas 24 night Caribbean. If that is okay we will book the Arcadia on our return. If not we will have to think again and may yet see you on Britannia if there is still space of course.

Re: 2015 Christmas Cruise on Britannia
I hope one of you is writing a review as we have booked on Oceana for the following Christmas so it will be interesting to read what its like being at sea for Christmas.
Can someone answer this question ?, we will be aboard for Christmas Day and New Years Day will they both be black tie gala dinners or just Christmas Day ?. I hope both nights will be black tie as we love to dress for dinner it makes it that bit special.

We are also on this cruise - summer holiday over so now starting to get excited about it and planning. Yes Christmas day and New Years Eve are always formal but last year the code was relaxed after dinner on New Years eve to change for the deck party although I never do - well maybe just change the shoes. This is applicable to all other P & O ships we have been on but just thought maybe Britannia will be a bit different as so many more places to go.

Happy New Year Jan. How do you fancy swapping for high winds and hailstones? You are missing nothing weatherwise at home.

Re: 2015 Christmas Cruise on Britannia
Wondered who would be intrigued, nothing scandalous I am afraid. Slipped on a very small ramp on beach in Holetown on NYD and badly broke and displaced right wrist. P&O's medical team were fantastic and managed to get it back where it should be and put on a cast so I could fly home next day. Have second appt at fracture clinic on Friday and will know then if surgery needed as unfortunately bone has displaced marginally again. All typing being done on iPad only, one finger LH.. impressive eh!!

Hi Ken - well fancy you were on Britannia with me and Jenni - it was actually Jenni who fell and broke her wrist on the last day in Barbados. We could have met up with you but you might have stood me up like that QB cat - mind you a bit difficult to identify Have you read my review on the cruise - I was with my son and family and we absolutely loved itKendhni wrote:Hi Jan, we were actually on this cruise with you ... even though I came down with a bad cold we still had a fantastic time and Britannia is a fantastic ship. Re: 2015 Christmas Cruise on Britannia
Hi Jan, oops sorry, yes got mixed up there ....
I haven't finished it yet but have read part of it ... looking forward to rest of it ... I can echo many of the sentiments I have read already. Britannia is a great ship and P&O have really got it right with her.
In the whole two weeks my only real complaint was that they replaced the Coke card with a Pepsi card (I consider that downgrade) Especially since the soda water in a couple of bars was tainted with something (Elderflower possibly) which made the Pepsi taste even worse.
