Everything is subjective but Arcadia is our favourite ship

My mate however, who has done 27 cruises (mainly P&O) reckons it's his least favourite.

This is mainly due to the lack of an atrium, which doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Empty vessels .. and all that

Have a wonderful time. It does have an atrium of sorts - but a very modern sort of space, unless they've changed it.

Have a really great time.

Cheers Boris, Atrium or lack of doesn't really bother me, it's a new ship for us and we are looking forward to trying her, am sure we will have a great time. We changed our original cabin to an Aft Balcony..E182..! hopefully it will be a wise decision.

That reminds me, must pay our balance soon.

I don't usually do this but I checked the price recently. Balcony cabin is now close to 7K, almost double what we paid a year ago. Must be a popular cruise.

Yes, lovely ship. I can never decide which is my favourite out of Arcadia and Aurora but I do like the theatre on Arcadia. Quick tip - if you are going to be late, go down to deck 2 and there is a passageway that takes you in at the front of the theatre where there are almost always some seats available

Looked at this cruise and loved the itinerary but as you say it is a tad expensive at the moment - although if I had booked the change of itinerary to drop Naples would have really annoyed me - looking forward to revisiting Pompeii sometime soon.

As I understand it all the trips which were from Naples can now be done from Solerno. So no change in trips.

It's just round the corner. 8-)

So would it still be possible to go to Capri from Salerno..?

Not direct in October. You may have to get to Naples. Looked this up for Solerna, looks promising:-

The Italian city of Salerno is located on the Gulf of Salerno on the Tyrrhenian Sea, and is the capital of the Salerno region of Italy, and is close to the Amalfi Coast. The town is well known as the home of the first medical school in the world, the Schola Medica Salernitana. The city, which is the cultural hub of the region is popular with visitors who enjoy strolling around the city taking in the wonderful sights, many of which are located close to the city centre. The city is characterised by beautiful pedestrian street, large piazzas and lovely shops.
