It may vary by length of cruise but on our recent short Adonia cruise there was not much in the way of dancing and there were certainly no dance instructors on-board

There was ballroom when we were on Adonia on a 20 and 30 night cruise. Also line dancing.

Yep ... we did 14 ish days, albeit in 2015, and there was ballroom every evening pre first sitting in the show lounge.

ps .... Our Member ' Barb44 ' may be able to confirm this as she is my resident expert on such matters  .

We did a 16 night cruise in 2015 and 2016 and each time there was Ballroom and Sequence dancing in the show lounge before the first show and then again after the show until the second show started. It was organised by the entertainment staff.

The entertainments team was much depleted on our Adonia cruise.

On the last Adonia cruise, there was dancing most nights in the Curzon Lounge - sometimes before dinner and sometimes after. As David said, no ballroom instructors. There was also line dancing every sea day - I'm certainly no expert but that seemed pretty useless as it was carried out on the fairly small circular dance floor in the Crow's Nest

I think they are up to strength now, Lindsey. Last week we had "Assistant" Ents Manager Claire plus Aaron, Steph and Sian. They didn't show a great deal of enthusiasm between them, though. Mind you, it was a bit like herding cats to knock the predominantly 70 to 80 year olds into shape on a Round Britain !!

A bit out of date now but I've just had a look at our 'Horizons' from Adonia in the Caribbean in October 2015 and every night except for formals there seems to be a 'Dance Date with Trevor & Nancy' from 9:15 to 10:10pm in the Curzon Lounge. There were also many morning dance classes at 09:15 with the same people in the same place.

In November 2014 there was 'Dance Date' most evenings in the Curzon at the same times as above but no morning ballroom lessons. There were line dancing sessions at 11:00 am in the Qasis Spa Gym. There don't seem to have been any specialist dancing instructors on this cruise.

So I guess it all depends on availability.

Just back off Adonia. No dance instructors but dancing every night pre show, mid shows and post shows. The Ents team mainly hosted and played CDS but occasionally the duo played dance music and on black & white night wave Soundwave played for the ball. The entertainment team were led by Scott and they were extremely enthusiastically d worked very hard to provide as much entertainment as the bigger ships.
