Email via the board is working as I have checked it. If you are not receiving emails via the board then it is probably due to spam mail settings somewhere - either on a mail server you are using or your email client.

For Ray and anybody else calling at Bequia at any time in the future.
There is a lady called Cheryl who works at the Fig Tree restaurant just along the coastal path to the right of the harbour. She operates the Bequia Children's Reading Club and would be very grateful for any donations of books for the local children to read. Modern classics including Roald Dahl would be great but anything given would be very appreciated. If you get a chance to visit you can read the letters of appreciation from the kids. They are really heartwarming.
That's if you have any spare weight allowance of course

Robert
emailed Cheryl to check if there are any specific titles required. Will round up the grandchildren this evening to see what they have. But yes weight will be a problem. Perhaps WH Smith at the airport.

I sent an email to Cheryl earlier this week and haven't received a reply yet but I spoke to her yesterday evening to confirm that they still need the books. I shall be taking some English classics such as Enid Blyton, Just WIlliam, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland and also some old editions of Treasure Island and Call of the Wild. She mentioned Roald Dahl but to be honest they will be pleased to receive anything they can.
We shall also have to watch our weight but I always like to leave some space for all the loot that Mrs QBob likes to accumulate.

One of our granddaughters came up with the goods, a tad more contemporary than requested but hopefully acceptable. Now to find some room in a case.Quizzical Bob wrote: ↑30 Nov 2017, 16:28Ray,Ray Scully wrote: ↑30 Nov 2017, 14:30Robert
