A difficult one last night. I couldn't call it in the dance off. I was hoping Mollie would get a little hope and it would go to the head judge to decide.

I do always feel sorry for the couple that are voted off when it’s a unanimous vote. It’s always nice if one judge votes for them.

We couldn't call the dance off either, but on overall performance I think Mollie's time had come. Gemma next to go but any of the other three could win on the night if it's judged on dance performance. But of course it will be audience vote only so popularity will be a big factor too.

I'm surprised that Gemma has !Aztec as long as she has.
She may be the one to be eliminated as it's gets down tongue final three.
Looking forward to the final.

It's been announced today that the final four will all perform the three dances and no-one will be voted off in order to take it to the last three. That removes the possibility that Alexandra might have been in a dance off again. However, the BBC say that it's always been intended this series that it will be the final four competing and not just three - who knows. They say they thought it better last year when there was no-one eliminated in the final programme because Will Young stepped down, don't remember that. Joe is the bookies' favourite - we'll see. I suppose with the final four all in it some of the votes that would have gone to one of the final three will now be divided between four. I don't know how what proportion of votes Gemma would get, how popular she is. Should be a good programme.

I read that yesterday. Good news as to learn the show dance and then not be able to dance it, must be soul distroying.

Agree 100%. Always seemed a shame after all their efforts some missed that chance.

A fabulous programme, they all danced well.

Joe was a worthy winner. Still would have liked Debbie to win but she did exceptionally well to get to the final.

Alexandra danced superbly but in a way she was almost too good and how did her partner feel when Craig said she was better than him.

All in all a good series.

It felt as if there was a lot of "tactical marking" by the judges - any one of the four could have won it, in my opinion.

It was clear who the judges favoured but all four were equally deserving, especially those who didn't have a dance background and were virtual beginners three months ago.

It was clear from their comments as well as their marks who the judges thought should win but it's an entertainment programme, not a competition for dancers, like the old "Come Dancing" used to be. I thought Joe had that extra dimension of acting according to the story of the song - his facial expressions, whether happy or sad or determined or whatever - he managed to convey as well as dancing superbly. I never felt the same emotion from Alexandra. I thought it was good to have the winner someone who had never had any dancing experience at all. If Debbie had won I think there would have been people moaning saying she had a previous history of dance. However, she certainly did amazingly and obviously has a dancing future for however long she wants to continue. I think we'll see Joe turning to musical theatre - I wonder if he can sing?
I thought he was a very worthy winner.

In my 'expert' opinion I thought Alex was the better dancer; at least she looked the better but all her tears and fawning over the judges was a put off. Debbie was a lovely dancer but there seemed to be too little dance and too much lifting and throwing around in her performances last night. I don't think the over emphasis on her age did her any favours in the public eye. Gemma was lovely and danced beautifully but not as good as Joe, who had an enthusiastic and exuberant partner. His dances were beautifully choreographed and he danced well. As a couple they deserved their win but I wonder how many bruises he suffered as a consequence of Katya's excitement.

Well done Joe and Katya

My thoughts to Foxy about them killing time by doing too many lifts and throws. The judges should have marked them down for that in my opinion.

A great show though and i'm already looking forward to seeing who the lambs to slaughter are going to be next year.

What the hell Am I going to do between now and then I don't know. Speak to the wife I guess :o

Expert opinion Foxy??

I've spent the last 5 minutes p**sing myself laughing at the thought of you wearing a dance belt and leotard.....perish the thought Foxy you should have stayed with 'teaching' lol.

Well as you know keefy always likes to bring you up to speed with the latest strictly spoiler news....well hear it is ****Joe bedded Katya**** oh yes he did!!!

Good for him l say....

Btw.....In my 'expert' opinion.....Alexandre was the best 'all round dancer' but came across as being a bit to... sickly false...shame as she's probably is a very genuine person.....Oh' well, another fiver down the drain.

Bbtw.....hope you are all keeping well
