At last!

#1

Post by Happydays »

We have had our P&O calendar delivered today, thought we weren't going to get one. They seem to be a bit later this year

There was also a suction disc with a hook, they are making it easy for us to hang it up

Except the suction cup always falls off the wall, at least the last few have.

We have a ' Countryfile ' Calendar, some of the proceeds go to Children in Need.

Did anybody spot the grammatical mistake in the card that came with it?

Still not received ours and we are at the giddy heights of Baltic so I feel sure we have grounds for a compensation claim

You can't beat a Balti. Well you can. But they get very grumpy about it.

Compo, now you're talking. Merv and I can provide compo claim forms, although his will be more upmarket now his Caribou, where as mine are recycled paper forms.....brown :D

Such a kind offer Stephen but us Baltics have standards to keep up so I will obviously have to use one of Merv's upmarket claim forms. Maureen

Cubie has an excellent cut and paste template available. Just fill in the cruise number, select the reason for the claim, with options including:
  • Visited a port I didn't want to go to
  • Missed a port I didn't want to go to
  • Itinerary not what I expected
  • Riff raff on board
  • Snobs on board
  • Children on board
  • Meals too big
  • Meals too small
  • Children too big
  • Smokers hogging sunbeds
  • Didn't get an upgrade
  • Captain wouldn't talk to me
  • Not sunny
  • Too sunny
  • Ship too big
  • Ship too small
  • OBC too small
  • Children too small
  • Bed too small
  • Headliners too small
  • Headliner's bed too small
  • Smokers hogging Headliners
  • My life is ruined
  • Headliners life is ruined
Finally select the amount of compo you want.

Generally Cubie takes 10%. Though that may have increased now he's been sacked.

Wonderful, thank you Mervyn. I think that Cubie's template will cover most of the complaints which are bound to arise over the next few cruises. I will keep very quiet about how much we get then I won't have to pay the 10%.

Mine arrived last Saturday.
Who selects which photos to use I wonder, some of them could be more original.

we aren't important enough to get one.

I think the piccies are the result of an appeal on FB. I remember peeps muttering that the only prize was P&O making a packet out of the photographer's hard work
