Oops! I meant to say last night, not next week! Very happy to be off, maybe starting to get stressed about packing, since I had a dream that it was 7.30 on Saturday and I hadn't started!melsea wrote:Welseynurse

Re: E304 - Western Mediterranean
For everyone driving down to Southampton today, I wish you all a safe journey and a good night's rest.
Actually, the same applies to those driving down tomorrow!!
If you spot me on board, do come and introduce yourself.

Best wishes from me too - I'm a fan of Oceana - have some lovely memories of cruises on herMeg 50 wrote:J hope you all have a wonderful time.

I echo Meg's thoughts about it being quiet on the forum - Alan you are a big contributor - hope you keep a log of your cruise and let us know how you got on when you return.
For myself when you return I will only have 5 days to my cruise on Azura (not that I'm wishing your cruise away) :lolno
Happy cruising everybody

Re: E304 - Western Mediterranean
Thank you for your kind words, Jan.
I am hoping to upload a blog (never done one before, so may break some protocols!) when we are in port. If that fails, then I will certainly give a report when we get back.
Kind regards

Forgot to mention that I tried to book a tour for Rome the other day but all of them are now on waiting list. So I am on that list I am not holding out much hope.

I'd be worried sick about missing a connection and watching the ship disappear over the horizon.....

No connections, it's a direct route, but I know what you mean. If you can get a group together there are always taxis and minibuses touting for business at the dock entrance next to the tourist kiosk. Whatever you do, get there early in order to make the most of the day.Silver_Shiney wrote:I'd be worried sick about missing a connection and watching the ship disappear over the horizon.....
