We watched this yesterday, I know that RCI's Oasis class will not be to everyone's taste, but we loved seeing the ship which is just a bigger more flamboyant continuation of the Voyager and Freedom class design.
One interesting point was how quickly they are able to disembark passengers, despite the start being held up by the late arrival of the US customs officers, they disembarked 1200 passengers in the first 25 minutes with everyone of the 6000 or so passengers off the ship by 10:00 am, then they were ready and waiting for the new passengers to start boarding at 10:30. P&O really could learn something about smooth turnaround operations from Royal Caribbean.

Our experience on Indepence OTS was that they cope extremely well, and they have the easiest ramped exit which allows all wheelchair and scooter users to disembark on shore based tenders. So I would imagine they have a similar system on Symphony.
