Well P&O are starting to wind up the new ship with details of its name in the New Year.

Impossible to guess but I think that after everything that has happened this year it would be an appropriate gesture if her name was, in some way, to reflect on all those who have worked tirelessly for the last 10 months in the fight with Covid.

I would even go one stage further and suggest that the maiden voyage of this ship should be entirely for those who have been on the front line of this fight and be a "freebie"

It would not surprise me if it was to be Oriana which seems to have been a favourite name in the past, and she will presumably be the flagship for quite some time.

Our P&O Mole on another forum did suggest that Corona was being considered before the virus hit, it is supposedly going to be a sun ship and will spend most of her days in hot climates, so the name would have been appropriate.
