Hi Keechy,
I am! Looking forward to it!
Have you been on Oceana before? First time for me.

Hi Pauly24
No, we havent't been on her either. We're not sure what to expect but it should be OK after the refit. We've done Aurora, Oriana and Arcadia and enjoyed them all.
Now, where are my dancing shoes...?

Ocean's a good ship. Proper promenade deck, nice size, freedom dining and if you're lucky no 'jacket required' evenings. The only downside for us is the lack of a specialised cinema/presentation theatre. The ship is a bit slower than Aurora and Oriana which can restrict some of the captain's options if circumstances change. Good for warm-weather cruises.Pauly24 wrote:Hi Keechy,

I don't care if she's a bit slow - I'm in no hurry!Quizzical Bob wrote:Ocean's a good ship. Proper promenade deck, nice size, freedom dining and if you're lucky no 'jacket required' evenings. The Strictly Come Dancing pro's on this cruise are Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova. They no longer appear on SCD but Lilia was always my personal favourite - probably for all the wrong reasons! Wifey's favourite is Ian Waite 'cos she fancies the pants off him. Well, tough luck my dear!

Hi Hantro11,
That means there's six of us going (assuming you're not singles)
I'm amazed that I managed to book and pay for two excursions already!
If you're interested it's 8th April 15:55. Assuming we set sail at 16:30, we only have to wait 20 weeks, 6 days and 34 minutes!!!

I may well be talking to myself on this post but the e-tickets came through today so now I know I'm on the way. 5 and a bit weeks to go. I'm getting excited which is a bit undignified for an oldish fella. My OH is being more restrained - I can tell because we haven't got the cases out of the loft yet!
