Another repositioning cruise
We enjoyed our recent Azura repositioning cruise, Malta to Canaries, so much that I thought we’d like to do it again next year.
Unfortunately it’s pretty well sold out with no flights available.
So I looked at 2025 and couldn’t believe the price.
They had an offer on which made the select fare cheaper than the saver fare.
Couldn’t believe it.
Anyway, called my agent to get a bit more discount and we’ve got
Select fare
C deck balcony
£230 obc
16 nights
Total including flights and transfers
£2,764 for both of us.
£86 a night for a C deck balcony cabin.
I don’t know how they can do it for that price.
That’s less than we paid 15 years ago.

Bargain!
That's a lot less than we paid (£130 pppn) for an outside cabin (no balcony and no OBC, and towards the sharp end) on Oriana on our first cruise in 1999!

It’s A539c Meg.
Start in Valletta
Finish in Tenerife
Interestingly, has Tangiers as a stop.
Will do a trip there.

I usually look for as near to £100 pp per night for a balcony as possible.

As you say barny, a bargain.
You ruined it for me though when you mentioned that word ‘flights’

Doesn’t bother us Stephen.
We also take a few land holidays in good hotels.
May do a cheeky little March to Lanzarote if the weather here is awful.
Quite like the Riu at Los Pocillos. A good all inclusive.
P&O organise the fly cruise really well.
Last month we left Bristol at 6.00 am and was onboard at 10.30am (11.30 their time)
Wandering Valletta at 12.30
