There's a few good progs on recently about Star Trek. Good viewing for any Trekkies.

We went to see the new Star Trek last weekend and left it somewhat disappointed.
It wasn't 'bad' but it fell into the current Hollywood fashion of padding it too much .. why make a scene 1 minute long when you can stretch it through repetition and in fills to 3 minutes. It was also very cliched and predictable.

So just like the TV series then??
I actually enjoyed it, Benedict Cumberbatch was good and the "new" Kirk, Spock & Scotty are (IMHO) better than the originals.

I thought it was quite good, it was also the first film I've watched in 3D
