Dublin taxi from port

Has anyone recently had a taxi from the cruise berth into the city centre in Dublin we are due to go soon and Princess want $16 pp for the shuttle bus. Thinking of any other ideas of how to get into the city centre.

It's years since we went to Dublin on a cruise ship so probably not a help but we took the train, sorry can't give you any details as it was so long ago I've forgotten but I do remember it was very easy to do.
