Sea Dog Bamse

Anybody who has been up to Honningsvag on the North Cape cruise or who lives in the Montrose area will know something about Bamse, the dog who became quite a celebrity during the Second World War. His statue stands outside the store on the seafront in Honningsvag. On a recent trip to Leith I spotted a book called 'Sea Dog Bamse: World War 2 Canine Hero' which should make for an interesting read.
