Norfolk, we are blessed with good temperatures and low rain fall. The farmers sometimes have a hard time when the weather does not play ball, but for us serfs it is loverly.

Not looking too bad here either. In fact it's looking good for the next two weeks with temperatures rising. The only fly in the ointment is on Tuesday morning when we may get some thundery showers.

End of forecast.

What a glorious day with temperatures well in the 20s.. Just done posh lunch with a bottle of champagne and caviar over ice. A memorable reminder of our purchase at the stall on the quay opposite the Bryggen in Bergen. Happy days.

Alright for some - absolutely bucketing down here now - brought the washing in wetter than when it went out

Two really contrasting days - sat in garden yesterday - today is a wash out - literally

Jan, sorry to hear about the inclement weather your side of the UK, but, somebody has to live in Welsh Wales and I am afraid that you are one of them. Why not try a short break in Stephen's and my side of the country.

The expansion chamber in our boiler had to be replaced this morning meaning that we had to have the heating full on long enough to ensure that the pressure is back to normal and that all the rads ( plus me ) are all piping hot.

Phew !!!!

Could have been worse, could have been close to Christmas when you may have had a job to get someone quickly.
It's not as if you can go outside today to cool off, it may be hotter out.

Was hardly worth the effort Ray. Could do with a good downpour to clear the humid air.

Very hot on the other side of the channel, mind you, we did hit 28c here and at 20.00 it is still 25c.
The barby is turning out mighty fine tucker, cooked to perfection if I may say. Love this weather.

It was persistently pouring down about half hour ago. A few more showers to come then it starts warming up again. According to Bee Bee and Cee it's going to be 28deg on Saturday

Mind you, I'd rather be here than in France. 100+ temp is just a bit too warm.

There endeth today's forecast
