Has been a mixed day here weather wise it's sunshine at the moment but we've ali had rain today

My son took my 12 year old granddaughter to a rugby tournament today in Southport. The weather was a mixture of sunshine and heavy showers - he wore hiking boots and waterproof clothing so was well protected but by the end of the tournament the skies cleared and the unexpected happened - he burnt the top of his head I know it's not really funny but made me laugh

Oops he forgot the suncream!.... shouldn't laugh I bet it's sore.

According to the tv weather bods we should be getting a high over the weekend with nice warm temps by Sunday. They should try updating the web site then, because the only high I'm seeing is 13deg tops.
