It was the same here in the east, but a few miles down the road at Santon Downham it went to -8, nippy.

Morning Stephen - started snowing last night here and continued through night - looking very pretty but I'm hibernating until its gone

Just thinking I flew home from Caribbean only three weeks ago - bit of a difference in the weather

I think the weather bods must use a forked stick for they're forecasts. All we have at the moment is grey skies and drizzle.

We seemed to dodge the worst again. Our forecast for yesterday afternoon and overnight started with heavy snow, then it got downgraded to light snow, then it was flurries, then it was nothing. A few more flakes at present but the temperature is forecast to rise to a balmy 2 degrees today.

Had to drive back from Southampton today through all that snowy weather in Stephen's very uncivilized "down souf", glad to be back in balmy Yorkshire, with no snow and blue skies.

Still beautiful and sunny here Stephen, warm enough to give the car a quick hose down with the Karcher to get rid of all the southern muck and grit it picked up on our return from Southampton.

How nice after all that cold weather to get out and stretch the legs, had a nice stroll by the river yesterday, and today is warmer,just love it, 'This is the life'.
