Well that didn't last long. Looking at good old online beeb weather first thing it showed heavy snow for Saturday here. Now just sleet showers. Probably be a heat wave by five o'clock.

May be the beeb forecast snow, sleet, rain and high wind for us when in truth it will be nice on our side, just to stop those in the rest of the country thinking we get all the nice weather.

Had some snow overnight but not much hopefully it won't last long. We have taken our dog for her morning walk (8.45) and it wasn't too bad to walk on but it's getting slushy now where people have walked

Update, after the second walk with our dog and I'm very pleased to say that all the roads, pavements and paths are clear the sun came out and there's only a small amount of snow in gardens where the sun hasn't reached. Thank goodness for that, I was hoping it wouldn't freeze like it did last week

Forecast looks promising, a mild 2degrees overnight and dry tomorrow same for Saturday! Really hoping it's correct and if my husband gets his golf tomorrow and Sunday what a result
His golf was cancelled today of course and it will depend if the greens are dried out enough for tomorrow.

That all sounds a bit selfish considering what some people have had to endure. I do feel sorry for them
