The weather bods may well say it’s going to be warm today but no sign of any sunshine yet. Grey and gloomy.

Warm with the lightest of breezes, sanding down the patio dining table ready for a few coats of teak oil. Covid mask ideal for the dust flying up.

The wind has dropped here and we seem to be stuck in low clouds now, and the temp is only up to 13 deg C.

Mrs S and I had our Pfizer Covid boosters yesterday morning. Mrs S has a bit of a tender arm whereas it completely floored me. I’ve never know pain like it, every muscle and joint was screaming pain at me. It was a nightmare last night, and of course no sleep as the slightest movement was agony. A little better today. The doc said several people she knows have been floored buy it but it should settle in twenty four to fourty eight hours.

I never had a problem before but apparently this Pfizer vaccine is combined with the Moderna vaccine.

I know one thing, I don’t want to go through that again.

Apparently the pain is caused as the little tracker microchips embed.

Ours were totally pain free ... with Moderna.

We have now had a combination of the three main ones.

We've had no problems with AZ, Pfizer or Moderna.

But we've obviously never had the new bi-valent one, nor had it at the same time as the flu jab (which also has never troubled us). However, it's stereo jabs on Saturday, so fingers crossed, and paracetamol cupboard stocked.

Chatted to a chum yesterday who used to live near Leek, sad but true, and he tells me that he has just stumped up two grand and some for a robotic lawn mower.

It can even cut the grass in the rain

If I'm feeling lazy I just pull up the bar and walk behind the mower. A nice bit of exercise and a fraction of the cost.
