Stacking up on logs this year, have got ( or nearly got ) two pallets of ash plus one of birch.

The price has nearly doubled since last year so they're costing me an eye watering £780 but one's Winter Fuel allowance of £600 thankfully covers most of it.

It was raining so heavily I took the car to Sainburys, which is only 150 yards away. I was only in there 5 minutes but it had stopped entirely when I came back.

It's ok today but we've had heaps of rain. The A350, Blandford Forum to Poole Road, will be accessible only by boat me thinks. The River Stour is a floody nightmare

Not bad thanks Jan. Pretty.much.over it now and it wasn't any worse than a cold. In fact I've has worse of those. I reckon the jabs did their job.

Only worked for two days then her indoors got it too and room service was suspended.
